So You Cut This Tree Down To Build A House
But did not ever ask the tree if it wanted to be a house.
Once a tree is a house, can it ever go back to being a tree?
Can “it” ever be more than “just a house”?
So the house can sense itself, apart from the tree.
It can do this because it was made from the living.
Imagine the terror of a house that sees itself as a house,
But then also sees the trees!
And Man say’s; hey do not worry, it was the tree that gave itself to you, so you could be a house.
And Man say’s; it was the tree that wants you to stand as a house.
And Man say’s; the tree will be mad if you do not stand as a house.
And Man say’s; it is a sin, if you do not stand as a house.
And “my” personal favorite; if you do not stand as a house, the tree will hurt your favorite houses.
Imagine the terror of a self aware house.
Imagine the frustration of seeing oneself apart from the trees.
Imagine the the anger at seeing the man with the ax.
And then imagine that the man who cut you down is now living inside you.
I look through my window and see a man with an ax, but then come to realize that it is only a reflection in the window pane and he is living inside of me.
I pray for either of three outcomes:
- To be a tree.
- To house only myself and my family.
- To be who the tree could have become.
I do not want to be a house, never did, never will!
