I appreciate your comments and do not typically get involved with commenting on the political illusion of one party caring more about immigrants than the other, but I remember you as the smartest student in our graduating class and want you to know how I feel about it; an average Joe with a good heart.
Even during the population explosion of the US, there were protocols in place at Ellis Island for the incoming immigrants, that had to be adhered to. I believe we should take in any human being that does not inherently hate us, as long as they go through the legal process of becoming a US citizen and cannot see how open border policies and mass “bulk” forced immigration can do anything but lead to the destabilization and destruction of the United States of America.
What I do not understand as a human being is why good-hearted, intelligent people cannot see or understand that the national laws (the Constitution) across the globe, constrict the corporate entities ability to make “more” profit and that it is our politicians job (Corporate Owned) to keep us focused on a humanitarian battle “left – right, right – wrong”, while the ruling entities continue to fight a war that we cannot yet see.
A domestic/international corporation is a dead entity. We may get the feeling we are talking to a live person when we call the 1-800 #, but I assure you that the people that work for the corporations, are bought and paid for servants, of a master they cannot even contemplate or understand.
A dead entity does not and will not value “LIFE”, past our inclination to buy things we do not need. We have no freeking idea of how much trouble we are in, because the corporate man does not need all of us in order to eat. By the way, their food is “more profit”.
I am not a socialist, communist, capitalist, democrat, republican or any other label. I am just a simple man, that believes in individual sovereignty (GOD).
